Nimble is on a mission to ensure that all students, regardless of background, have access to excellent teachers. We build AI-driven tools to help schools recruit and hire top talent. Our core product is a K-12 recruitment & hiring tool with embedded AI assistance that helps K-12 hiring managers identify the educators most likely to drive student learning and be retained in classrooms. Since launching in 2017, we have grown to serve some of the largest school districts nationwide, helping staff classrooms for millions of students annually.

What you'll be doing

As a Product Manager at Nimble, you will:

  • Champion vision and strategy for your product area, working with Head of Product to define product roadmap in the context of broader company initiatives;
  • Leverage analytics and feedback loops to inform prioritization decisions;
  • Develop a deep understanding of user pain points and needs through robust customer discovery;
  • Prioritize the highest value work based on a sound understanding of our company mission, product strategy, and business goals;
  • Lead a product development team in an agile-like environment through sprints, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has most or all of the following:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management;
  • Experience building B2B SaaS applications with complex workflows and/or AI components;
  • Ability to make sound product decisions when faced with competing stakeholder priorities;
  • Demonstrated examples of translating limited or fragmented data into customer/product insights;
  • Demonstrated ability to gather the information needed to make strategic decisions in technical domains;
  • Clear, effective communication skills needed to influence internal and external stakeholders;
  • Passion for our mission of ensuring all students have access to excellent teachers;
  • Willingness to adjust work/meeting schedule to US Time Zones.

Bonus points

  • Experience with marketplace products;
  • Experience with ranking, recommendation, or predictive analytics products.
